Archery GB has been named Ally of the Year at the Muslim Sports Foundation’s annual awards.
The organisation was nominated for the work that has been done to engage Muslim communities in archery through Project Rimaya. Archery GB was shortlisted along with Be Active Bedfordshire and the Professional Footballers' Association.
Jude Handley, Archery GB's Head of Clubs and Membership, and Jamila Bi, Birmingham 2022 Legacy Co-ordinator, collected the award on behalf of Archery GB.
Jude said: "I am so proud to have been able to collect the award with Jamila on Gayle's behalf.
"It was a really lovely evening and so many people came to talk to us about the impact archery has had on them and their communities."

Jamila Bi was also nominated and shortlisted for Female Sports Personality of the Year, highlighting the huge impact she is having on addressing inequalities in archery.
Gayle Pink said: "Thank you to the Muslim Sports Awards for recognising Archery GB's commitment to our work in this area. This award is a true honour, and it reflects the work of so many people.
"Project Rimaya's success is built on collaboration. This award belongs to all our amazing Rimaya partners. Together, we've worked to create opportunities that are tailored to each partner, developing bespoke archery offers that meet individual needs, with the long-term goal of establishing sustainable community archery clubs."
The Muslim Sports Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of Muslim individuals and organisations who support them across the UK. The awards ceremony was held on Thursday, 4 December at Elland Road Stadium, in Leeds.
Sajid Hussain, of the Muslim Sports Foundation, said: "While the Muslim Sports Awards have certainly grown this year, they aren't just about trophies - they are about recognition, representation, and inspiring future generations."
