Ajay grew up and lives in Kent where he is also studying at the University of Kent. When he was 11, his dad took him to a reenactment at a medieval castle where he did a have-a-go with a longbow. Since 2023, the compound archer has transitioned from the junior squad and has made his debut on the senior squad.
In 2024, he won a silver individual medal at the Conquest Cup world ranking event in Istanbul, a silver mixed team medal with Ella Gibson at the Antalya World Cup, and a silver individual medal at the JVD Open indoor event in the Netherlands.
