Phoebe is a previous World no. 1, and won gold at her Games debut in Tokyo for the Compound Women Open. She has spina bifida and first tried archery on a family holiday enjoying it so much she joined her local club. Phoebe is a student at Worcester University, studying sports coaching science and Pedegogy.
Phoebe moved to Telford in 2019 from her family home in Cirencester, in the Cotswolds. So far this year she has won two bronze medals at the European Para Championships: one with Jodie Grinham in the compound women's open doubles category, and the other with Nathan Macqueen in the compound mixed team division. She also won a silver medal with Jodie Grinham at the European Para Cup.
