Job Title:                  Performance Operations Manager

Salary Range:        from 35k (dependent on experience) full-time, would consider 3-4 days

Location:                  Lilleshall (with hybrid working option)

We are looking for a solution focused and experienced professional to lead our performance operations team for the World Class Programme. 

In this challenging and exciting role, you will:

  • Provide operational management of the new Performance Archery Centre by working in partnership internally within AGB departments, programmes, and people, as well as external stakeholders such as our site operator, Serco
  • Provide operational leadership in the review and development of the performance department's operating procedures, systems, and processes to ensure effective and efficient administration
  • Provide direct support to the Performance Management Team and Performance Director, developing strategy performance trackers, managing deadlines, and supporting high quality record keeping
  • Provide direct line management to the Performance Coordinator

We seek a forward-thinking, warm, and welcoming individual who can engage and connect with others. Our ideal candidate will have strong planning and organising skills and proven experience in administration, governance and operations. With knowledge of budget management, interpersonal skills which you can adapt to a wide range of stakeholders and a drive for operational excellence, this role provides the opportunity to make a massive contribution to the success of our World Class Programme.

Job Title:                  Head of Welfare and Safeguarding

Salary Range:          £35-40k

Location:                  Lilleshall for at least 3 days a week

This is a new role to provide leadership to our Welfare and Safeguarding team and enable the consistent and effective management of concerns, complaints and safeguarding issues across our organisation and membership.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for:

  • Driving positive change around acceptable behaviours and embedding a respectful and inclusive culture within our sport
  • Providing a comprehensive, sensitive and effective complaint service across the organisation
  • Supporting the National Lead Safeguarding Officer and team with meeting and exceeding our responsibilities regarding safeguarding matters, concerns, and case management

We are looking for candidates with proven experience in this area of work who have a passion for ensuring the highest of standards are maintained in both customer service and issue resolution. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the legal and policy framework around complaint handling and safeguarding and the ability to manage complexity. With excellent interpersonal skills, they will balance assertiveness with diplomacy to ensure people feel heard and that fair and timely decisions are communicated.
