We are delighted to announce the successful appointment of our new group of inspirational young Archery GB Ambassadors ready for 2023.
We have been astounded with the interest in the new Ambassador programme, receiving over 50 expression of interest forms. Following a robust safe recruitment process we now have a dynamic team of motivated young volunteers with the appropriate skills to enable them to fulfil their roles.
We are very excited to share the appointment of 19 new young Ambassadors. We will launch the appointment of our new student and adult Ambassadors in the coming months.
Archery GB Ambassadors are a team of inspirational volunteers who want to encourage more people to get into archery, feel welcomed at clubs and develop a love for the sport.
Archery GB Ambassadors aim to:
Gayle Pink, Archery GB's Head of Participation, said: "Becoming an Archery GB Ambassador is a great way of sharing your love of archery with people who might not otherwise be able to access it.
"Ambassadors will share their stories and experiences of archery, promoting and organising events, to reach out to members of the community and inspire them to try our wonderful sport.
"We are absolutely delighted to launch the appointment of 19 new young Ambassadors, from across the whole of the UK, who are such positive role models for archery."

Our new Ambassadors have signed up to support the programme for a minimum of two years and will be provided with kit, training opportunities, mentored support, resources, equipment and opportunities to work together. While the Ambassadors are promoting our sport and representing Archery GB, processes are in place to keep them safe.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our previous team of Ambassadors who have done such a great job in promoting and developing archery and raising the profile of our amazing volunteers. We are delighted to retain a number of experienced Ambassadors to help support the new cohort as well as our team of Mentors. Names of previous Ambassadors who will remain in post can be downloaded from the Resources section of our Ambassadors page here.
Please contact Gayle Pink from Archery GB or your Regional Development Officer, if you want to find out more information about the Ambassador Programme.
