Competitions exist for the main types of archery in the UK: target, field, flight and clout. Tournaments are organised so that you shoot a set number of arrows at specified distances, at a specified size of target face, this is known as a ‘round’. You can find explanations of the different rounds in Archery GB's Rules of Shooting. The types of rounds are split into Archery GB and World Archery Rounds.
