In 2023 the date of the British Target Championships will move back to its traditional date of 12-13 August and will also include a Tier 1 National Tour Stage.

Tier 1 – World Record Status, World Archery 50/70m round, followed by head-to-heads. A cut will be made to the top 64 in each discipline. Longbow will shoot 70m on a 122cm face.
Tier 2+ event with World Record Status World Archery 1440-star rounds. Compounds and recurves will shoot on individual six zone 80cm faces at 50 and 30m. Barebows and longbows will shoot on a full single 80cm face at both 50m and 30m.
Team managers must provide Archery GB with the teams 14 days prior to the competition date.

National Trophies and the Championship Title will be awarded to the highest placed British Archery GB member. After the presentation, all trophies must be returned to the Competition Organiser.
Medals will be awarded on the following basis in all disciplines:
A waiting list will be in operation as soon as the event is filled, once you have been moved from the waiting list you will be given a 48-hour window to accept and pay for your place.
Archers who are unable to get to the target should discuss their requirements at least two weeks before the competition with the organisers, please note if this isn’t done, a solution might not be available on the day.
Please expect music to be played at a low-level during shooting.
Parking will be available for free on site.
No refunds will be given 28 days before the event. Refunds prior to this will be as advertised on Sport:80 when you enter and will be administered 5 working days after the event.
The decision of the Competitions and Events Manager will be final.
Please refer to Archery GB rules of shooting for dress regulations, all archers should comply with dress regulations until after presentations of the awards.
Archers competing at record status tournaments may be subject to testing. Competitors who are approached to give samples must comply; non-compliance will be treated as a positive result. By entering this competition, you consent to testing, if you are entering a minor into this competition you consent to the testing of that minor, this is in line with UK Anti-Doping Policy, Rule 5.7.2.
Smoking/vaping is not allowed on the field of play; there are designated smoking/vaping areas on the main driveway.
Event formats can be changed on the day due to unforeseen circumstances by the competition manager, organiser and judge in charge in collaboration with competitors.
Lost arrows must be reported to a judge or member of the field party (please remember to inform them if you later find the arrow). It is the archer’s responsibility to account for all arrows before leaving the field.
Animals will not be allowed at this event, except for assistance dogs.
