The Masters

The Masters brings together the best of British archers to compete in this prestigious event to find out the new Masters of UK target archery.

The tournament runs across two days, held on the Lilleshall grounds at the National Sports Centre. It also makes up one of the six stages of the Archery GB National Tour.

Pre-entry

This year, early pre-entry will available on 20 January 2026 for the following archers:

  • Those who earned senior target MB, GMB, or EMB in 2025
  • Top 30 ranked archers in the compound open, compound women, recurve open, and recurve women categories from the 2025 National rankings
  • Top 24 barebow open and top 16 barebow women from the 2025 National rankings
  • Top 10 longbow men and top 10 longbow women from the 2025 National rankings

What round is it?

UK Masters + National Tour Stage 4 Tier 1 ranking event 

Saturday 27 June:

  • Double WRS 70m & 50m
    - Recurve & Longbow 70m
    - Compound & Barebow 50m
  • 3 minutes per end

Sunday 28 June:

  • Head-to-head elimination matches
  • Second chance tournament for those who lose in the first round of the head-to-heads

Entry information

  • Fee: £55
  • There are no single day entries available.
  • National Tour points are awarded only to those who complete both days.
  • The event is open entry.
  • Entries will close when the shoot is full.
  • 80% refund available up to 29 days prior to the competition start date.
  • No refunds 28 days prior to the competition start date.

What can I win?

The UK Masters Championships will be the overall winner of the head-to-heads.

There will be score awards available for the Saturday for the highest double 70m/50m and the highest single 70m/50m.

Please remember to return your trophies from the previous year.

Parking and lost property notice for Lilleshall:

Archery GB will only monitor the Blue Badge car park that is accessible close to the competition fields. The spaces are limited, so if you require a blue badge parking space, please request it through this form for all the competitions that you will be attending: Blue Badge Parking Request

The requests will be treated as a priority, so if you fail to do so, you might be asked to park further away from the field. Please remember to display the blue badge on your windscreen at all times.

Archery GB will keep any lost property that is left behind at competitions for a period of 6 weeks maximum. Any items that are not collected or claimed within that period will be disposed of.
