Event format

Round – World Record Status - WA18 

Recurve and compound shoot on a vertical 3-spot 40cm face.

Longbow and barebow archers will shoot on a 40cm full face.

The 50+ category is for compound, recurve, and barebow bowstyles only. If you wish to shoot in the 50+ category, you must state so when you enter.

 

Prizes

The winners in each division will be named the National Champion.

General information

  • Featuring our brand new target lights and improved hall lighting.
  • There is free parking on-site, including disabled spaces.
  • In Hall 2, there will be the tradeshow running all weekend, offering a selection of stands showcasing and selling their products.
  • The cafe will be selling hot and cold food, drinks and snacks (Saturday 6 December: 7:30am- 6pm). Please note that on Friday 5 December, the cafe? will not be open, but there will be cash-only hot and cold drink vending machines.
  • There are toilets and accessible toilets on site, in Hall 2 and in the cafe area.
  • Those wishing to take photos will need to register with the Tournament Organiser on the day of the competition.
  • Pre-entry will be available on Monday 29 September for the top 30 recurve and top 30 compound archers, and the top 24 barebow archers as per the 2025 National rankings on 25 September.
  • The decision of the Competitions and Events Manager will be final.
  • Please refer to Archery GB's Rules of Shooting for dress regulations, all archers should comply with dress regulations until after presentations of the awards. You can download the latest version of the Rules of Shooting behind sign in under Member Resources. 
  • Archers competing at record status tournaments may be subject to testing. Competitors who are approached to give samples must comply; non-compliance will be treated as a positive result. By entering this competition, you consent to testing, if you are entering a minor into this competition you consent to the testing of that minor; this is in line with UK Anti-Doping Policy, Rule 5.7.2.
  • No smoking/vaping is allowed in the building; there are designated smoking/vaping areas outside the facility.
