Archery GB is sorry to be the bearer of the sad news of the passing of Rachel Watson.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Priestman as the Archery GB National Coach.

Frank Mulligan, who has been at the heart of Northern Ireland archery for decades, has been awarded the British Empire Medal in the 2018 New Year's honours list.

We're delighted to announce that Archery GB are fully compliant with the new Code for Sports Governance.

Due to a restructure of the coaching team, the Paralympic Head Coach position is being made redundant. Mike Peart, current Paralympic Head Coach has chosen not to consider either of the vacant new roles and instead will be pursuing new opportunities outside of the Archery GB Paralympic programme. Archery GB would like to thank Mike for his significant contribution to the Paralympic programme and archery within this country, and wish him well for the future.

Archery GB Performance has published youth selection policies for the 2018 European Youth Cup, European Youth Championships and Youth Olympic Games.

Almost 200 archers competed in the 16th British Barebow Indoor Championship at six centres across the UK - and there were some stunning results.

After a day of drama, thrills, spills and shoot-offs our 2017 National Indoor Champions have been crowned. They are: Patrick Huston, Bryony Pitman, Layla Annison, Michael Kells, Luke Hagon and Sheila Hudson.

Day one of the National Combined Indoor Championships is over and our bright young prospects seized their chance to shine, while more established stars savoured victory in the Back to Back tournament.

Twelve months ago Bryony Pitman won recurve gold at the Indoor Archery World Cup in Marrakesh. This year an on-form National Series champion Patrick Huston got the 2017/18 indoor campaign off to a flying start by winning silver.
