Meet the World Class Programme Recurve Athletes

The journey to Los Angeles has begun. For the next four years, the cycle to the 2028 Olympic Games will welcome an exciting team of athletes, including familiar faces and some new contenders.

The archery will be held at Dignity Health Sports Park, the stadium in Carson, California, the home of the LA Galaxy football team. It is also the venue where the 2003 FIFA Women’s World Cup Final took place, capable of housing 27,000 seats for football, American football, concerts, and now, archery for the Olympic Games.

Continuing on their individual Olympic journeys are 2024 Paris Olympians, Penny Healey and Megan Havers, and world class programme athlete, Monty Orton. All three archers are no strangers to a finals field, and they are aiming high for LA.

Joining them on the programme will be some exciting, new athletes, who are ready to give it their all for Great Britain in the hope of earning our country Olympic spaces at the upcoming international competitions.
