The 2020 Invictus Games and UK Military Games are nearly upon us.

The new national ranking system for senior Recurve and Compound archers has been adopted by Archery GB. The system was trialled during 2018 with the aim of increasing the competitiveness of archers by focusing on results.

After the gold medal success of the Compound men's team at the 2018 European Championships last year, the 2019 goal is to win places for the European Games in Minsk, Belarus, in June. The selected team will head out to the European Grand Prix in Bucharest, 9 - 13 April, 2019 attempting to win places for that event.

Tokyo 2020 is approaching fast. This year is crucial for our para-athletes as they gear up for the Paralympics Quota Tournament and world championships in June at ‘s-Hertogenbosch as well as other major competitions. And they really need your help.

The selection policy for the 2019 World University Games which will be held in Naples, Italy from 3-14 July has been published.

Following a consultation across the Recurve and Compound Pathway teams, Archery GB will use the European Youth Cup 1st leg in ?atež, Slovenia as an as an event to develop what it takes to win through exposure to international competition.

We are delighted to announce that following a thorough recruitment process, Lizzy Rees has been contracted as Archery GB's Field Archery Coordinator. Initially funded to conduct a strategic review of Field Archery across Archery GB's membership.

We normally have our Annual Conference and AGM on the third Saturday of April. To avoid Easter this year, we will be holding it a week early on Saturday, 13 April 2019 at the Crowne Plaza, NEC, Birmingham.  We look forward to seeing you there.
