It's time to introduce you to another of our brilliant new junior ambassadors, letting them tell their story in their own words of who they are, what they love and why they chose to become an Archery GB ambassador. This month, we hear from Alex Shehata-Morgan.

The 18-year-old archer's recent acceleration to number one in the world, as well as her win at the Antalya World Cup and the European Grand Prix, earned her nomination for this award. 

Vic Williams is a familiar face on the UK and international Field and 3D archery circuit, having been an avid participant for many years. Her recent appointment as Archery GB’s Field and 3D Lead aims to make good use of the knowledge and contacts she has developed over the years.

We look at the MSA's Muslim Women in Sport Report to see how Archery GB and Project Rimaya are helping to address the barriers and concerns faced by British Muslim women in sport.

Scottish broadcast and production company QTV has today announced the sponsorship of promising British and Scottish archer, Cameron Radigan, in a deal aimed at supporting his qualification campaign for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

"I look forward to meeting our archers, members, volunteers, coaches, supporters, valued staff team and the many other stakeholders who care about our sport, and to let them know that their ideas, views and experiences matter and are important."

The project is due to be completed later this year, enabling athletes access to this world class facility as part of their preparations for Paris 2024.

"I have wanted to be a part of the Senior National Squad for a while but didn’t think I’d be able to shoot the scores. However, after shooting so well throughout 2022, I knew there would be a chance and when I shot over the required 690’s/720, I had the scores to back that up."

The key aim of the selection process is to identify the best athletes to represent Great Britain at the Olympic Games.

Barebow as a discipline and community is growing at a very encouraging rate, and we are receiving increasing recognition and publicity for what we do.
