Barebow as a discipline and community is growing at a very encouraging rate, and we are receiving increasing recognition and publicity for what we do.

Archery GB welcomed 20 instructors from clubs and Archery Activity Partners to the first ever AAP and Instructor Conference at Lilleshall Sport Centre last week, where they were invited to learn about equipment maintenance, Arrows Archery and Project Rimaya.

Welcome to the Southern Counties Archery Youth Tour (SCAYT), creating opportunities for lots of juniors to get involved in over 30 competitions across the region.

The 2023 January Challenge, which ran from 1 January to 31 January, is over for another year. The results have been tallied, the scores verified and it’s time to announce the winners.

With all the excitement surrounding the 2023 National Tour, we went back to where it all started and spoke to Lucy O’Sullivan and Duncan Busby, the first compound champions about their experience of the very first National Tour finals.

To celebrate the last day of LGBTA+ History Month, Johanna Meyer and Blake Walker from the University of Bath take a look at fictional archers, their impact on the sport and what LGBTQ+ representation in archery really means.

"We are slowly welcoming other LGBTQ+ members from within our local area, and we try to be warm and friendly with every potential archer that comes to our doors. This does usually involve lots of cake and a happy atmosphere."
